This Month...

Routinely Reflective

Not only is the weather unpredictable in September, with one moment being sunny and warm and the next rainy and cool, but so can your routines. With summer coming to a close, vacations becoming a memory and school bells tolling, you may feel like you are being pulled in several different directions. After you get used to getting up earlier or chaotic mornings or just the different lifestyle this time of year brings in general, your routine may not seem so random. This is the perfect time for reflection and renewal.

In your A+ Affirmations class you learned that your mind is goal-striving; it serves you best when you give it direction. Have you written out your affirmations yet? If not, now that the house is quiet and you have a little time for reflection, sit down with a pad and paper and get writing. Start by closing your eyes. Then let yourself dream of your future just as you wish it to be. When you have mentally experienced that future in full color and with all the sound and positive feelings that go with it, simply open your eyes and write what you experienced. Be sure to use the word "I" and positive, affirming words. Once you've finished, read your affirmation out loud and notice how wonderful it feels to be the conscious creator of your future. Now simply read your affirmations daily, and get ready to amaze yourself!

"Lost 60 lbs in 7 months"

After Picture of Louise PryorMy name is Louise Pryor and I live in Caldwell, ID. I own a business that provides services to people who have mental challenges. I've been overweight for the last 15 years. I have tried losing weight with other methods in the past. I've tried Weight Watchers, LA Weight loss, prescription pills and anything new on the market.

I heard about Positive Changes on the TV. I enrolled because my husband encouraged me to do it. It took me about a month to finally decide to join. My consultation was very good. They were very polite and there was no pressure to join. They just explained how the program worked.

To date I have lost 60 pounds and it only took 7 months to lose this weight. I used to wear a size 3X and now I wear a size 10/12. I've lost a total of 50 inches all over my body.
