This Month...
Resolution to Reality
The clock strikes midnight; the ball drops, the fans cheer, couples kiss and friends hug. But after the fog of celebration clears, the real world settles and your New Year’s resolution becomes a reality. You may have gone a couple of months late last year saying, “I will start that next year” and that’s great, but now it’s time to do it! With January, comes new beginnings and a fresh start to focus on healthy choices.
Take a moment and think about what has held you back from keeping your resolutions a reality in the past. Was it willpower? Temptation? Distraction? Negativity? Stress? Whatever the reason was, it’s in the past. By sticking to your hypnosis program you will automatically be one step further than you were last year. The promises that you have made to yourself to keep yourself eating healthy, exercising and thinking positive will be kept.
The most successful way to keep your promises met this year is with rehearsal. If you don’t rehearse the changes you want, you shouldn’t be surprised when they don't happen. Mental rehearsal is the power in hypnosis. Think of your hypnosis sessions as creating Post-It Notes for your mind. Hypnotic suggestions are reminders for the subconscious. They are designed to be triggered by daily events and to remind you to respond to situations in positive new ways. Hypnotic suggestions can help you focus on your goals, prompt you to exercise, and help you make healthy choices.
Make this year different by truly focusing on the promise that you made to yourself. You made it for a reason-because you want to do it!

"I lost 153 lbs in 11 months"
Hi, my name is Leon Abair. I'm retired and live in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts with my wife. I wasn't comfortable with my weight, but it just went on and on. I lost track of it because I wasn't paying attention. I was also a smoker, so that only added to my problems. Then I found Positive Changes.
