It seems that each year the holiday season starts earlier than the year before. Now, with Halloween behind us and with fireplaces burning to chase away the late autumn chill, it's already time to start planning our holiday season. Then starts the official holiday season and with it comes dazzling lights, pretty packages and ribbons, and the scent of pine in each of our homes. Lovely images, right? I would lose a little weight, then gain a lot! After years of this, I found myself 50 pounds overweight. More than that, I was miserable. I had no energy, no self-esteem and was depressed. My weight, or my inability to lose it, consumed my thoughts from the time I got up in the morning until I went to bed at night.

After a few short months at Positive Changes, all that has changed! I have lost 50 pounds without the word diet ever being used. I find myself choosing healthy foods without even thinking about it.
