This Month...

Go Ahead . . . Enjoy Yourself!

As summer winds down and football season winds up, social activities such as picnics and tailgate parties are more commonplace. For those who try to lose weight by dieting, this can be a stressful time that leads to deprivation and disappointment.

The good news is, as a Positive Changes client, you know better than to diet or deprive yourself of the foods you enjoy.  And, in your MindMastery® classes, you’re learning how to lose weight and still have fun. You know that you can be free of cravings, create your own state of self-empowerment, and set yourself up for success. Here are three quick reminders to help you enjoy your social life more than ever before:

  1. Before you leave home for a party, have a protein shake or bar so you arrive with a full feeling. Then, even if you indulge in a small sweet, you will keep your blood sugar in balance. Otherwise, to get the same effect, start your meal with a good source of lean protein and some fiber before nibbling on a treat.
  2. Empower yourself by listening to your favorite Positive Changes’ hypnosis process before you head out the door.
  3. Remind yourself that “Nothing tastes as good as thin and healthy feels,” whenever you want to supercharge your self-confidence.

Why stress at parties while everyone else is having fun? Relax and trust in the power of your own mind.  You'll soon find yourself enjoying good times with friends and family without the worry, deprivation, or guilt of the past. When you use hypnosis to focus your mind on the positive, social events will be a delightful experience once again.

"I lost 52 pounds in 6 months"

Sherry Mowatt after photoMy name is Sherry Mowatt and I'm from Cheney, Washington. I lost 52 pounds in 6 months with Positive Changes Hypnosis. I went from a tight size 16 to a comfortable size 10.

I had two children close together and I really started getting overweight after my third pregnancy. I just ballooned up and I was very uncomfortable. I couldn't bend to pick things up. Even tying my shoes was difficult. I didn't even go to my 20-year class reunion because of my weight. I just felt really self-conscious.

I would try to lose weight on my own and I would actually succeed to a certain degree, but then I would gain it back, plus more. I was totally out of control. I ate a lot of junk food. In my head I thought, 'oh yeah, I don't have to eat that ice cream but the next think I know I'd be eating a huge bowl of it. And it was never just one cookie. I had to have 4, 5, even a dozen that day. I would always eat deep-fried chicken strips and hamburgers when we went out. And not the little hamburger, the big one. I just ate huge amounts!

I finally said, 'I'm going to call because I hated what I looked like. I called Positive Changes, went in for my free consultation and it was fabulous right from the beginning. It started working so quickly it amazed me. Right after my very first session I noticed changes right away. I didn't want to stop…  continue   or   read more success stories here

People can promote health and wellness by exercising at a moderate intensity for 150-300 minutes per week or exercising intensely at 70 percent effort or more for 75 – 150 minutes per week. Walking is an example of moderate-intensity exercise, while jogging is.…   read more
