Re-engaging the Sales Setting

Have you ever had a day that just wouldn't go your way, one where you felt that every sale you saw said "No" or "I need to think about it" and then left?  Did you then fear that every sale would walk out the door without buying?

One will usually start to sense this trend early in the day. For those of us in sales, it is hard to determine why this phenomenon occurs.  Perhaps you've experienced a personal life upset or your rapport skills are sluggish.  Unfortunately, knowing why it's happening doesn’t necessarily solve the problem.  You simply need to know how to get off that slippery slope and end your day with a successful sale.

The secret to getting back into the groove is easy. Simply schedule yourself 30 minutes to listen to Sales001–Self-Confidence in Sales.  This will help you get relaxed and focused on your day.  If you only have ten minutes before your appointment, simply close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and relax. Focus your thoughts on your successful sales; the people you helped to provide what they were looking for.  These few minutes to yourself can give you the boost you need to re-engage the sales setting with a positive attitude.
