This Month...
It’s Your Summer!
This month, while we are celebrating our nation's independence, make up your mind to reclaim your own personal freedom from those unwanted pounds and inches for good. By the time July rolls around, some may blow off the idea of trying to lose weight. They may think, “well, what’s the point? We are already ½ way through the summer!” Really, summer is the best time of the year to focus on losing the pounds. If you think about it, the days are longer and the weather permits you to go outside and exercise. The nights are a relief from the hot day and are the best times to ride your bike, walk your dog, jog with a friend, etc. Just use your imagination and the possibilities are endless.
The heat of summer can also be a natural appetite suppressant. Lighter foods, salads, and fresh fruits appeal to us when it's hot. Imagine how easily you will coast through the holidays later this year by deciding to focus on developing the characteristics of a naturally thin person this summer.

Suzanne Rozzo
"size 16 pants to a size 8"
My name is Suzanne Rozzo and I live in New Plymouth, Ohio and I'm an afternoon school custodian. I have lost a total of 47 pounds thanks to my program at Positive Changes Hypnosis. I have gone down 3 belt sizes and have gone from a size 16 pants to a size 8.
My first appointment with Positive Changes was in the first week of April, 2009. I felt like a lost soul walking through the front door. But after talking with my consultant and relaxing, I was ready. We talked a lot about when, how, and what I ate. There was never a "sales pitch" or this is a "one time offer". After a thorough visit, we were both confident I was a good candidate for hypnosis. I was told by my birthday, September 16th, that I would have lost 40 pounds. When I got on the scale on my birthday I had lost 41 pounds. I just smiled. I just couldn't believe it. I just laughed. What better birthday present could anyone ever receive?... continue or read more success stories here
* By following our program, our clients lost more than 4 lbs. on average in their first 3 weeks. Results from a study commissioned by Positive Changes and performed by researchers at The Ohio State University.

Exercise Prevents Weight Gain
In a review paper in Medicine & Science in Sports and Exercise (31: S542-S546, 1999), Dr. R. Loretta DiPietro reports that the evidence linking habitual physical activity to the prevention of excess weight gain among the general population seems clear.
