How many times have you been frustrated over a failed diet? How many times have you eaten food just because you didn't want to waste it? Diet by definition is deprivation of food until one can return back to old eating behavior. The main problem with this is when you return back to your old eating behavior, you return back to your old weight. Changing the way you think about food is the only true way to lose weight and keep it off, and that really is the goal.
